More research needed to understand full effects of Long Covid and aid recovery - the YEP says
Today he continues to fight the ravaging effects of Covid-19 and he has spoken of the “dark moments” he has faced.

Hide AdAnd while there are those who are continuing to make a strong recovery, there are some whose lives will never be the same again.
We still don’t fully understand why Covid affects certain people in the way it does - it is indiscriminate.
As attention gradually moves away from saving lives to supporting them, it is uncertain what the full impact of long Covid be on survivors.
While the Government has pledged £18.5 million to fund research to better understand the causes, we need to also understand its implications so the right support can be given to families like the Kelks on their long road to recovery.
